A securities company wants to increase capital to 5,000 billion VND

(NLDO)- After a successful offering, the charter capital of this securities company will double, reaching 5,000 billion VND.

Kafi Securities Joint Stock Company has just officially approved the plan to offer 250 million shares (equivalent to VND 2,500 billion) to existing shareholders, with the right exercise ratio of 1:1, thereby doubling the charter capital to VND 5,000 billion, expected to be completed before June 30, 2025.

Of which, the company plans to add VND1,125 billion for securities trading activities and VND1,125 billion for margin lending activities, totaling VND2,250 billion, equivalent to 90% of total mobilized capital.

In addition, Kafi will use VND150 billion (6%) to supplement its operating budget; VND75 billion (3%) to invest in developing infrastructure and technology services; VND25 billion (1%) to invest in developing and maintaining the network. The expected usage progress is until March 31, 2026.

Kafi Securities was formerly known as Royal Securities with a charter capital of VND 20 billion. In 2019, this enterprise changed its name to Globalmind Capital Securities. By 2022, it will become Kafi Securities with a charter capital increased to VND 1,000 billion.

By the third quarter of 2024, the company's charter capital will reach VND2,500 billion. The shareholder structure at this time has two major shareholders, Ubiben Joint Stock Company and Gentle Sun Investments, holding 10,065% and 20% of capital, respectively. In which, Uniben is the enterprise that owns 3-region noodles and Boncha honey tea.

Regarding business situation, the financial report for the third quarter of 2024 shows that Kafi Securities recorded operating revenue of more than VND 264 billion, an increase of 105.3% over the same period.

Of which, the self-employment segment contributed nearly 152 billion VND, an increase of nearly 62%. The strongest increase was in lending activities, which increased 4 times over the same period, bringing in 86 billion VND...

As a result, Kafi Securities had a net profit of more than 43 billion VND, an increase of 15% over the same period.

In the first 9 months of the year, the operating revenue of this securities company was nearly 616 billion VND; after-tax profit reached more than 117 billion VND, up 95% and 72% respectively over the same period.
