Bridge for the disadvantaged
Mr. Le Van Phuc (Deputy Head of the National Volunteer Network in the Southern Region) said that not all disabled people need material help. In addition to material help and more than material help, disabled people need orientation, guidance, and especially respect and recognition from society.
At the same time, Mr. Phuc said that the Association needs to accompany and monitor the entire operation process, ensuring that the livelihood model, breeds, and seedlings when supported to the beneficiaries are developing well, creating profits and revenue.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hang (Binh Thanh District) hopes that the Association will spread the message and change the community's thinking about people with disabilities. Disability is just a defect, a small inconvenience, not a misfortune.
Given the fact that people with disabilities still have difficulty accessing job opportunities, Ms. Hang hopes that the Association in Ho Chi Minh City will become an ideal destination for disadvantaged people to come and share their career desires and aspirations.
"This will be the basis for the Association to develop appropriate training and vocational training programs. On the other hand, the Association will be a bridge for businesses and society to meet and connect with disadvantaged workers," said Ms. Hang.
The association encourages young artists to put their love into cultural beauty through works of art because they are easy to approach young people. When each person has a love for a strong and prosperous Fatherland with abundant health, that love will be stronger than ever.

Young people have the responsibility to build a green environment and green lifestyle.
Talking about the responsibility of building a green environment and green lifestyle, Ms. Ngo Nguyen Ngoc Thanh (Deputy Head of the Environmental Protection Department, Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City) emphasized that young people need to equip themselves with knowledge about environmental protection and responding to climate change.
"Vietnam has committed to implementing the United Nations' sustainable development goals. These are not just metrics but also guidelines for each country, city and individual to form an environmentally friendly lifestyle," said Ms. Thanh.
Singer Phuong My Chi shares her love of country in her own way, an effort to spread love of national culture to young people.
Talking about the recent trip to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 Yagi in the North, singer Phuong My Chi said she was a bit worried but quickly overcame this with the thought "if I don't do it, who will?".
This has always been the mindset that Phuong My Chi reminds herself that if she does not recognize what she does, how can she demand recognition from others?

According to Ms. Thanh, along with raising awareness and accessing correct information, young people need to have critical thinking to distinguish fake news and false news so as not to be too pessimistic about environmental issues.
At the same time, young people can promote their pioneering role, apply social networks to propagate and monitor environmental protection work in the area, and report inappropriate behaviors so that authorities can promptly resolve them.
Start a business, create your own opportunities
At the discussion group on the topic of startups and entrepreneurship, Mr. Truong Minh Dat - co-founder and CEO of BenKon Joint Stock Company - shared the story of energy optimization.
He said the motivation for him to start a business was nothing more than the idea that young people must be dedicated. It was also a way for him to create opportunities for himself.
He said the difficulty for young startups is that they do not understand the rules of the game, while the startup race is not a race that can be won by just running at full speed.
"The association needs to support young people in equipping them with skills and knowledge, from expertise to real-life stories in startups, including lessons from failure," Mr. Dat shared.
