After more than 3 months of Vietnam Family Magazine launching the 2nd "Father and Daughter" writing contest in 2024, thousands of articles from authors across the country have been sent to the editorial office.
In the last days of receiving entries, the number of submitted articles increased dramatically with many quality works, filled with father-child affection, causing the contest's judges to "struggle" in finding the best article.
At 9:00 a.m. on July 12, 2024 at the Hall of the Vietnam Writers Association Publishing House, 65 Nguyen Du, Hanoi , the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 2nd "Father and Daughter" writing contest in 2024 will officially take place.
In particular, to properly express the spirit and inspiration of the competition, the Organizing Committee decided to choose MC Nguyen Huu Chien Thang as the narrator for this year's closing and award ceremony.
MC Chien Thang's meticulousness, professionalism, and emotional lyrical voice are expected to make the ceremony lively and attractive.
MC Chien Thang said that he always wants to accompany meaningful programs that make positive contributions to the community. "Father and Daughter" is not only a contest rich in humanity but also inspires special feelings about father-child and family love, something that today's society needs to encourage and honor.
MC Nguyen Huu Chien Thang is a familiar face to millions of Vietnamese audiences. Born in 1973, he is a famous announcer and program host on VTV and VOV radio.
He became known from the VTV3 program 24 frames per second (24 frames/s) thanks to his special voice. The male MC then quickly created a buzz, impressing the audience through many programs.
MC Chien Thang's emotional voice has therefore become a part of the memories of television viewers, especially those who love VTV's documentaries and reports.
The 2nd "Father and Daughter" Writing Contest in 2024 will award 01 first prize, 03 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 06 consolation prizes and 06 secondary prizes to authors with the best entries.
At this year's award ceremony, the Organizing Committee will also introduce the book "Father and Daughter" to readers nationwide.
The book, which collects more than 70 of the best articles from the first year of the "Father and Daughter" contest, is considered a handbook for nurturing the feelings of family members.
