Special note for candidates taking multiple choice tests to avoid losing points unfairly

TPO - Candidates absolutely must not write or make any additional symbols on the multiple-choice answer sheet, and must not use ink pens to write on the sheet.

According to the admission regulations, this year, candidates following the new generaleducation program (2018) are required to take exams in Literature, Math and two elective subjects from the list of subjects they have studied (including Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Foreign Languages...).

Candidates under the old program (2006) take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language exams, plus one of two combined exams: Natural Sciences or Social Sciences.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , the 2025 high school graduation exam only has Literature subject tested in essay form. All other subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages ​​are all tested in the form of objective multiple choice. The exam will be graded entirely by machine, so filling in the answer sheet correctly is the deciding factor.

For multiple-choice tests, candidates must fill in their personal information on the test paper, answer sheet, and scratch paper right from the start. After receiving the test paper, carefully check the number of pages, print quality, and test code on each page. If you find any missing pages, smudges, tears, or blurring, you must notify the supervisor within 5 minutes of receiving the test paper.

A common mistake that causes candidates to lose points is to fill in the wrong or obscure box for the candidate number, exam code or answer. Use a black pencil to fill in the entire box. If you want to change an answer, you must erase the old box and then fill in the new one. Blurring, crossing out or marking your own answer will prevent the machine from recognizing the answer, leading to a loss of points.

Candidates must not write or make any additional symbols on the answer sheet, must not use a pen to write on the sheet (except for filling in personal information) and must only use one color of ink (black or blue).

Many candidates skip difficult questions to come back to later, but in the end forget to circle the answer, leading to losing points. When you skip a question, you should clearly mark it so you can come back and finish it.

In addition, do not fold or deform the answer sheet. Wrinkling, breaking, dirtying or writing irrelevant content on the answer sheet is considered a violation of the regulations and can affect the test results.

Candidates are not allowed to submit multiple-choice tests before the test time is up. When the time is up, they must submit their answer sheets to the invigilator, sign the two test receipts, and then leave the room. If the candidate is taking only one subject in a combination test, after submitting the test, they will be moved to the waiting room and will only leave the testing site after the time for the last subject in the combination has ended.

At 2:00 p.m. on June 25, more than 1.16 million candidates will complete procedures to take the 2025 high school graduation exam. The official exam time is 2 days, June 26-27.

This is the first year that the exam takes place in parallel with two general education programs. Of which, 1,137,183 candidates registered for the 2018 general education program and 24,951 candidates for the 2006 general education program.
