'Catching the eye' of assistant coach Kim in the Vietnam national team, 2 talents were sent to Japan

On August 10, the two most outstanding faces of the Japan Football Dream project - the first season in Vietnam, were officially revealed, ready to embark on a training trip in Japan and get closer to their dream of playing professional football.

Accordingly, Le Hoang Tuan and Ha Tuan Kiet are the two young Vietnamese talents named. With outstanding performances throughout the 36 hours of competition and activities, the two young players have won a place to participate in the training program at the Tokushima Vortis Club in Japan, scheduled for March 2026.

Acting as a person who shapes the competitive mindset in the program, the assistant coach of the Vietnamese team - Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh always follows closely and gives advice to help the players develop their tactical thinking and perfect their playing style. Coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "The final round of the Japanese football dream project witnessed all kinds of emotions, from excitement, determination to regret. But above all, the players showed their determination to conquer the king of sports . I hope that today's faces will become real bright spots for Vietnamese football in the future."

The final round of the "Japan Football Dream" project took place over two days (August 9 and 10), gathering talented candidates to attend. At Ba Ria Stadium, the young players had a full experience as a professional player, living, training and competing together in a disciplined and competitive environment. Throughout the participation process, from general activities to competitive matches, the children were comprehensively evaluated according to 5 criteria: thinking, mental attitude, technique, physique and speed. This is the basis that fully reflects the qualities and readiness to become professional players in the future.

The official round was designed according to professional standards, divided into two rounds. After the competition, the two candidates Le Hoang Tuan (from Dong Nai ) and Ha Tuan Kiet (from Phu Tho) excelled over many other talented names, becoming the representatives of Vietnam to participate in football training and exchange in Japan.

Le Hoang Tuan expressed his joy and honor when the coaches trusted him to participate in training in Japan, and shared his determination to become a professional football player. Ha Tuan Kiet was also overwhelmed with emotion, feeling proud of his efforts. "In the upcoming trip, I hope to express myself, exchange and learn from international friends. From now until the time I go to Japan, I will continue to practice and try my best," Tuan Kiet said.
