This is the first time Vietnam has hosted this tournament, with the Vietnamese women's team being the defending champions.

The tournament features 11 women's teams, divided into 2 groups:

  • Group A: Vietnam, Australia, India, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (China)
  • Group B: Kazakhstan, Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia, New Zealand

The teams will play a round robin, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals on June 13. The final and third-place match will be held on June 14. In addition, qualifying matches will also be held to determine the final rankings of the teams.

All 35 matches of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 will be broadcast live on channels such as ON Sports News, ON app, ON Plus.
