Artist Le Thiet Cuong

At the press conference, artist Le Thiet Cuong suggested that the Organizing Committee should consider setting a record for a giant pho pot. He said he is "very allergic to big records".

"The best nature of Vietnamese people, from the clay figurines, stone dogs, pagodas and temples, all like small things. The mindset of Vietnamese people from Dong Son to Ly, Tran, Le, Mac... all like something small and pretty. Not everything that is big is good. We have to be confident in the quality of a bowl of pho, its beauty, the national spirit to make the big thing in quotation marks, not literally big", artist Le Thiet Cuong expressed.
