Leaders of O Lam commune inspect traffic and irrigation works

On August 12, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of O Lam commune (An Giang province) Mai Thi The led a working delegation to survey traffic and irrigation works in the commune.

The delegation conducted a survey of An Yen 14 and An Yen 15 bridges, which have just been completed and are preparing for inauguration. The construction cost is over 700 million VND, supported by the Vietnam Youth Social Work Center and philanthropists. This is a project to welcome the 1st Party Congress of O Lam commune, term 2025 - 2030.

The survey team of Pang Tay road (Phuoc Tho hamlet area) prepared concrete, 218m long, construction cost 218 million VND from the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Survey 3 traffic routes proposed by voters to upgrade concrete, including: Road along Phuoc Long Hamlet pumping station and embankment system; Canal Suon 4 road and road along Canal Suon 4; inspect the degraded iron bridge of Phuoc Long Hamlet. At the same time, survey 3 landslide points on the concrete road to Soai Chek Lake ( Ninh Thuan Hamlet).

Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People's Council of O Lam Commune, Mai Thi The, requested specialized departments to develop plans, estimate costs, and propose capital for the construction of the three roads proposed by voters. For landslide sites, quickly draw lines and install warning signs to alert traffic; deploy maintenance and repair of the drainage system on the road to Soai Chek Lake. For projects that already have funding, take advantage of disbursement and construction.
