Tan Khanh commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Tan Khanh, Ban Dat and Dao Xa. Every year, the commune grows about 2,754.9 hectares of rice and vegetables, with food output reaching 10,840 tons/year. The whole commune has 1.8-2 million poultry and more than 15,400 pigs. There are 14 cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector, 10 establishments are certified by VietGAP and 6 products are certified by 3-star OCOP.
Tan Thanh commune was established after merging 3 communes: Tan Kim, Tan Thanh, Tan Hoa. In the commune, there are currently 248 households, 37 farms; 12 cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen highly appreciated the close direction of the communes in socio -economic development in recent times, saying that the localities have promoted their potential advantages to build many effective models. He suggested that the communes continue to replicate the linkage models to develop key products; production establishments need to actively learn and share experiences with each other for sustainable development.
During the working program, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited a number of typical models such as: Tan Phu hill chicken cooperative, Tuan Nghia forest product processing facility, Tan Tien hill chicken cooperative and Trong Hung deer farming model.
