Dong Hy commune was established on July 1 on the basis of merging Hoa Thuong town, Song Cau town, Minh Lap commune and Hoa Trung commune. Currently, the poverty rate of the whole commune has decreased to 0.7%; political security and social order and safety have been ensured; electricity systems, roads, schools and stations have been invested synchronously...

Promoting the achievements, Dong Hy Commune People's Committee launched the emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 with the focus on: Mobilizing and effectively using resources; promoting socio-economic development associated with green growth, circular economy and environmental protection. The locality focuses on developing safe and organic agriculture ; promoting digital transformation associated with community tourism, craft village tourism; striving to build Dong Hy commune to develop comprehensively, sustainably, and meet advanced new rural standards before 2030.
