Kim Son closes 2023 defense area exercise

Continuing the combat exercise of sub-regions 3 and 4 in the Kim Son district defense area in 2023, including Thuong Kiem, Tan Thanh, Dinh Hoa, Van Hai, Kim Tan, on the morning of June 23, the live-fire exercise took place and the closing ceremony was held. Attending were leaders of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of Kim Son district and members of the district's exercise steering committee.

Along with the mechanism operation drill, Dinh Hoa commune organized a live-fire exercise in the form of "Commune armed forces practice ambush combat". The communes mobilized over 100 cadres, militia soldiers and people to participate in building fortifications, battlefields, preparing materials, arranging training grounds, strictly implementing the training plan, actively practicing to successfully complete the live-fire training task.

Through the content of the ambush combat, the flexible application of tactical principles and traditional fighting methods of the people's armed forces, combined with the effective use of homemade weapons and weapons of the assigned units, has created initiative and flexibility. The units coordinate closely and scientifically in combat, handling situations quite rhythmically and in harmony. Each individual applies technical tactics, knows how to take advantage of favorable terrain and terrain to destroy the enemy.

After a period of active and urgent work with a sense of responsibility, the combat exercise in the communes of Thuong Kiem, Tan Thanh, Dinh Hoa, Van Hai, and Kim Tan in the 2023 defense area was a great success.

Through the exercise, the level and capacity of leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels have been improved; the management and operation of the government in a state of national defense emergency, the transition of localities from peacetime to wartime; the preparation and practice of combat to protect localities; the level and capacity of staff of the Military , Police and departments, branches and organizations; the level of combat readiness and command coordination between forces have been raised.

At the closing ceremony, Kim Son district awarded 2 groups and 14 individuals, and the District Military Command awarded 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the exercise.
