In the Ta Rau area, Pa Tang village, Dakrong commune, there are currently 20 households at risk of landslides if there is heavy rain in the coming days. This is also the location where a landslide occurred in 2022.
After checking the actual situation, the working group of the Quang Tri Provincial Civil Defense Command requested the local authorities of Dakrong Commune and Pa Tang Village to urgently evacuate people to safe shelters, completing the evacuation by the evening of August 24. Also in Dakrong Commune, people in Trai Ca Village in low-lying areas at risk of flash floods were evacuated to safe areas by the Border Guard and Commune Police.

The working group of the Provincial Civil Defense Command requested that the functional forces strengthen propaganda work so that people understand and comply with the storm and flood prevention warnings of the local government. At the same time, in the long term, there should be solutions to relocate households in low-lying areas to other safe areas.
