It is expected that the investment project to build Ninh Cuong bridge across Ninh Co river ( Nam Dinh ) will start construction in the second quarter of 2025.
Regarding the progress of investment preparation for the Ninh Cuong bridge construction project across the Ninh Co River (Nam Dinh) on National Highway 37B, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper, a representative of the Thang Long Project Management Board said that after the project was approved for investment by the Ministry of Transport , the unit is implementing procedures to select a technical design consultant.

"According to calculations, in the first quarter of 2025, the technical design work will be completed. Bidding and construction selection will be carried out in 2-3 months. It is expected that the project will start construction in the second quarter of 2025," said a representative of the Thang Long Project Management Board.
According to the approved plan, the Ninh Cuong bridge project across the Ninh Co river on National Highway 37B has a total route length of about 1.65km.
Starting point at Km 0+00 (about Km 73+200 according to National Highway 37B), in Ninh Cuong town, Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province.
The end point is at Km 1+650 (about Km 74+500 according to National Highway 37B), in Lieu De town, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province.
The main bridge project is invested with a scale of 2 motor vehicle lanes, 2 mixed vehicle lanes, bridge width of 12m.
The approach roads at both ends of the bridge are of the scale of a level III plain road, with a scale of 2 lanes, a roadbed width of 12m, and a design speed of 80km/h.
With the above plan, the total project investment is more than 581 billion VND, equivalent to more than 24 million USD.
Of which, ODA loan capital from the Korean Government (through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund - EDCF) is more than 465.7 billion VND, equivalent to more than 19.3 million USD, used to pay for construction costs, equipment, technical design consulting costs and construction supervision (excluding VAT), and reserve for ODA capital.
Counterpart capital (central budget and local budget) is about more than 115 billion VND.
