Flower Shell is a gun shell containing flower seeds, invented by Swedish inventor Per Cromwell. The idea was born from the desire to turn guns, a symbol of violence, into a tool to beautify the world .
Each bullet can contain up to 100 seeds, depending on size, and is hand-wrapped in paper or cloth for safety. When fired, the seeds will fall to the ground instead of causing damage like regular lead bullets.
Cromwell used 142 flower bullets to create a field full of cornflowers, daisies and poppies. To plant a small garden, the user needs to shoot about 20 times, then water and wait for the flowers to bloom. The project has attracted a lot of attention on Indiegogo and is looking for a manufacturing partner in the US.
