Inauguration of the first paper canned fruit and vegetable production line with Swedish technology in Vietnam.

Son La province has comrades: Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former provincial leaders of different periods; Representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, communes in the province, and enterprises and cooperatives of Son La province.

The Tetra Recart line is located at the DOVECO Son La Vegetable Processing Factory, with a maximum capacity of 6,000 boxes/hour, about 6-8 million boxes/year. The Tetra Recart line is a paper packaging solution designed for canned foods to extend shelf life without preservatives or refrigeration. Combining high-speed processing technology and heat sterilization, preserving the flavor, texture and nutritional value of the product, helping businesses optimize operations, reduce packaging weight, reduce waste and meet the increasing needs of consumers for convenience and safety.

The new line will package many types of high-end agricultural products of Vietnam in general and Son La agricultural products in particular, such as: sweet corn, pineapple juice, beans..., supporting the consumption and export of local agricultural products, creating more job opportunities and promoting the agricultural value chain of farmers, cooperatives of Son La and neighboring provinces.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, emphasized: Son La province is one of the provinces with outstanding agricultural potential, owning the largest fruit growing area in the North. He hopes that in the coming time, Son La province, Doveco will continue to accompany businesses, cooperatives and farmers in the province to focus on developing raw material areas, building a tight production chain and forming a value chain for supplying and exporting agricultural products to the world. Continue to research and apply new plant varieties to production and strictly manage seed sources to ensure quality. These efforts not only contribute to bringing the Son La agricultural product brand in particular, but also the Vietnamese agricultural product brand in general, to increasingly reach out to the international market.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: The province focuses on stabilizing the existing fruit tree area, developing each type of tree in depth to increase economic value and product quality. Strengthening the application of science and technology to increase product value and move towards green and sustainable agriculture. At the same time, promoting links between scientists, farmers, businesses and cooperatives to form large-scale production areas to create favorable conditions for businesses to invest in the local agricultural and rural areas, especially fruit production and processing. Son La province is committed to accompanying Doveco to build a strong production chain, strengthen links with cooperatives and farmers to develop raw material areas, create favorable conditions for Doveco to confidently invest, consolidate modern production lines and promote the consumption of Son La's agricultural products.

At the ceremony, Dong Giao Food Export Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement on business and product distribution with international partners and domestic distributors. Along with that, the Company also exported the first shipment of products using the new Tetra Recart packaging.
