This is not only a symbolic event, but also a call for the community to join hands in action - through movements such as cleaning the ocean, reducing plastic waste, applying green technology in aquaculture - exploitation of aquatic products, and raising public awareness through social networks and modern media.
Protecting the marine environment, restoring coral reefs, and regenerating aquatic resources is not only a responsibility but also a fundamental solution for sustainable development. The release of native aquatic species at Dam Bay - Nha Trang Bay today is a vivid demonstration of that commitment.
According to Plan No. 3944/KH-SNNMT-CCTSBHĐ of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, this seed release activity is part of a series of programs to restore the marine ecosystem and ensure livelihoods for coastal fishermen - especially in areas affected by tourism and climate change such as Nha Trang Bay. With the joint efforts of the government, businesses and the community, these activities are expected to lay the foundation for a model of marine economic development in harmony with nature conservation in the coming years.
