Opening of the 2025 Children's Literature and Art Creation Camp

DNO - On the morning of June 10, the Danang City Union of Literature and Arts Associations in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training opened the 2025 Children's Literature and Fine Arts Creation Camp. This is an annual activity that has been maintained for nearly 30 years and has had a wide influence inside and outside the city.

This year's creative camp has 86 participants, including 42 students in the literature field and 43 students in the fine arts field. From June 10 to 13, the students will interact and exchange with writers and poets about literary writing skills for children; experiences in writing and perfecting literary works; learning about the cultural and historical characteristics of Quang Nam and typical authors; from life materials to literary works; reading and literary writing skills; the process of completing manuscripts - publishing - introducing - promoting works and instructions on writing at home...

On June 14, students will go on a field trip to Thanh Ha pottery village park in Hoi An city ( Quang Nam province) with activities such as visiting the craft village museum; viewing the exhibition of ceramic paintings and exhibitions of pottery villages; visiting the Sa Huynh and Cham Pa museums; and visiting the miniature world model area.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Thuan said that this is a meaningful activity to help nurture, inspire and develop artistic talents for students in the city; contributing to the comprehensive development of human - intelligence - body - aesthetics for students.

“We are very happy and excited that this year, the creative camp received enthusiastic support from many educational management agencies, general education institutions, parents and students in the city. I think the students selected to participate in this creative camp are truly talented, enthusiastic and passionate about developing their talents in a healthy, creative and friendly environment.

In addition to focusing on core subjects, cultivating students’ aesthetic ability, emotions and creative thinking is becoming increasingly necessary. The creative camp is the ideal environment for students to freely express their personality, imagination, love for their homeland, country and pure childhood aspirations through words, colors and lines. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for students to interact, learn, be guided and inspired by writers, artists, teachers and peers.
