On August 26, at Ariyana International Convention Palace, Da Nang city, HorecFex 2025 event - Vietnam's largest HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering) Technology Exhibition and Forum officially opened.
The event took place from August 26 to 27, attracting more than 3,500 attendees, including more than 90 domestic and international speakers, and the participation of more than 500 hotels, restaurants and leading businesses.
HorecFex 2025 provides an opportunity for businesses in the HORECA industry to update the latest trends in technology and market, improve competitiveness and sustainable development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism , emphasized the importance of this event to the Vietnamese tourism and service industry.
He assessed HorecFex 2025 as a breakthrough event, promoting innovation and cooperation in the HORECA industry. He also affirmed that the forum is a great opportunity for businesses to optimize management, embrace new technology and promote sustainable development for the industry.
Meanwhile, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, informed that the city currently possesses many outstanding advantages in terms of tourism resources and modern infrastructure. In particular, Da Nang is leading the country in the number of 4-5 star accommodation establishments with 164 establishments, providing more than 31,000 rooms.
The city is also asserting its position as Asia’s leading event and festival destination, ranked in the Top 50 most attractive cities globally. Hoi An, with its outstanding beauty, was also honored as the most beautiful city in the world in 2025.
Chairman Triet shared that HorecFex 2025 is an important opportunity to connect, share experiences and come up with breakthrough solutions to improve service quality in the Hotel, Restaurant and Service industry.
"The city is committed to providing maximum support to build a favorable environment for the development of key economic sectors, including tourism, and creating the best conditions for investors and businesses operating in Da Nang," Mr. Triet emphasized.
HorecFex 2025 organized many in-depth discussions on the development trends of the hotel industry, MICE tourism (meetings, incentives and conferences), strategies and sustainable development initiatives. The discussions focused on important topics such as sustainable tourism certification in Vietnam, human resource development in the industry, and effective restaurant business development strategies.
In particular, for the first time, attendees will experience advanced technology solutions applied in the hotel and restaurant industry. These technologies have a total value of more than 42 billion VND, including 4D Mapping Immersive Epson with vivid visual and lighting effects, 3D Virtual and MetaQuest virtual reality experiences, simulating future hotels and restaurants.
In addition, technologies such as service robots, AI facial recognition, smart check-in, Bose & WorkPro livestream systems and amenities such as automatic coffee machines and Galaxy Pay charging stations also bring attendees interesting and innovative experiences./.
