On August 26, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism inaugurated the Press and Propaganda Center "Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)."
The anniversary is a particularly important political event of national scale. The event recorded the largest number of reporters, editors, and technicians registered to work ever. Specifically, there were 1,390 reporters from 171 domestic press agencies and 150 reporters from 50 foreign press agencies.
According to Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh, this is a particularly important event of the country, an opportunity for the Vietnamese people to review the heroic history, educate the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great solidarity, the desire for peace , the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, self-respect, and national pride; express deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for national independence and unification; affirm the determination of the entire Party, people and army in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Information and press work will also contribute to arousing and fostering people's trust and pride in the Party, the State and the cause of national renewal, creating unity within the Party, social consensus to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, and be determined to complete the goals and tasks of party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, the 13th National Party Congress and the Central Committee's Resolutions, bringing the country into a new era.
The Press Center is the place to organize, direct and guide press activities related to the Anniversary for nearly 1,500 domestic and foreign reporters, editors and reporters; this is also the place to provide information about the Anniversary activities; serve the reporters' work activities; and handle reporters' press activity requests.
Besides, press information work will contribute significantly to the overall success of the National Day Celebration on September 2nd.

“With that purpose, we will create all favorable conditions for domestic and international reporters to report on the Anniversary and proactively and actively provide information from the Organizing Committee about the Anniversary, contributing to the successful organization of the Anniversary according to the set goals, while ensuring the safety and security of the Anniversary,” Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh stated.
Mr. Le Hai Binh also requested that domestic and foreign reporters and editors report news quickly and accurately and comply with regulations on security, location, work diagrams, route maps, etc.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Science and Technology coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to issue a postage stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)"./.

The ceremony was organized by the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly, the President, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi city.
* The parade and marching ceremony will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square (broadcast live on Vietnam Television, local stations, and social media platforms).
* As of August 26, there are 6 forces participating in the parade, including:
- Traditional Torch Relay and Fire Guard.
- Artillery Force.
- Air Force flyover.
- Parade and marching forces: 4 Honor Guards; 43 blocs representing the people's armed forces (26 Army blocs, 17 Police blocs); foreign military blocs, expected to include: China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia; Military vehicles, artillery, special Police vehicles; Parade forces at sea; 12 mass parade blocs; 1 Culture-Sports bloc.
- The forces standing as the background: Honor Guards on the stage and 29 standing blocks (18 armed force blocks standing opposite stand A; 11 mass blocks standing on both sides of the new armed force blocks added since August 21).
