Ia Le focuses on economic restructuring and attracting investment

(GLO)- That was the direction of comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee at the 1st Congress of Ia Le Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030, which took place on the morning of August 14.

Attending the Congress were leaders of a number of departments, branches, and specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; former leaders of Chu Puh district (old) through different periods; and 120 delegates representing 373 party members of 30 affiliated Party organizations.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the two communes of Ia Le and Ia Blu before the merger (now Ia Le commune) have achieved many important results. Specifically, the product value in 2025 reached more than 1,392 billion VND; average income per capita reached 52.25 million VND/year. The average total budget revenue in the 2020-2025 period reached 27.86 billion VND/year...

The congress focused on discussing, approving targets and proposing solutions to build Ia Le commune with rich identity, sustainable and comprehensive development in the new period.

Accordingly, the commune strives for an average annual increase in product value of 10.97%/year; total budget revenue of 6.7 billion VND/year; reduction in the average annual multidimensional poverty rate of 1%...

At the same time, strive to have over 80% of subordinate Party organizations and Party members evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better every year; develop new Party members to meet the targets assigned by superiors...

Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized: Although Ia Le commune has achieved many important results in the past term, there are still many difficulties and challenges. In particular, the economic structure has shifted slowly; industry-construction and trade-service development has not been commensurate with its potential and advantages; agricultural production is still scattered, the production-consumption chain is not sustainable; investment attraction is still limited... In particular, the transportation and irrigation systems are not yet synchronized. The rate of poor households, especially in ethnic minority areas, is still high, with the risk of falling back into poverty...

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the commune needs to focus on stabilizing the organization and building a great solidarity bloc of the entire Party. Urgently concretize the resolution into action plans and programs.

In addition, priority is given to promoting economic growth, focusing on economic restructuring, increasing the proportion of industry-construction, trade-services; developing high-tech agriculture , forming concentrated specialized areas, creating a favorable environment to attract investment in local areas with great potential and strengths.

In addition, review and update the general planning of Ia Le commune to exploit the potential strengths of the locality. Continue to invest and synchronously complete the socio-economic infrastructure. Focus on implementing the 4 breakthrough resolutions of the "four pillars" of the Politburo .

Develop culture, improve people's quality of life; strengthen national defense and security. In particular, attach importance to the key task of building and rectifying the Party and a clean, strong, and comprehensive political system.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee; Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ia Le Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, 23 comrades were appointed to participate in the Executive Committee of the Ia Le Commune Party Committee, Term I; Comrade Nguyen Minh Tu was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
