Also at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Chairman of IB Group Vietnam, said that Kenny G had quite high requirements for equipment during the concert:

"A music night requires a special equipment system (speakers, mixing consoles, etc.), especially if the wrong type is used, the sound quality will be different. Kenny can use the sound provided by Vietnam, but requires a mixing console produced 10 years ago to produce the music quality he wants.

We had to go to Japan and Singapore to rent 2 mixing tables. The Organizing Committee has signed a contract to transfer those 2 mixing tables to Vietnam for 2 months now to ensure that the quality of Kenny G's performance in Vietnam is no different from the nights he performs on big stages around the world."

Kenny G is an American saxophonist. In 1994, Kenny G won a Grammy Award for Forever in Love and is the only artist in the world to be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for playing the longest note on a saxophone for 45 minutes and 47 seconds. In 1997, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
