Taking place from August 28 to September 5, the Exhibition left a lasting impression on the public not only in its grand scale, the large number of visitors, or the attention of the press and media, but more importantly, in its strong contribution to spreading patriotism, arousing national pride, and affirming Vietnam's potential and position in the process of innovation, integration, and development.
The picture is bright and colorful
The exhibition brings together the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of the Exhibition Center, introducing achievements of nearly 180 industries.
The exhibition vividly recreates the country's 80-year journey. From simple images of the national resistance day to century-old construction models, Vietnamese intellectual products in the 4.0 industrial era, all are placed side by side to highlight the nation's arduous but glorious journey. The exhibition is organized in an open, multi-level format, with the exhibition space logically arranged on an indoor and outdoor display area of nearly 260,000m2, with three main zones.
In particular, the general exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition House with the theme "Vietnam - Journey to the new era": Introducing and displaying the outstanding achievements of the Country in 80 years of construction and development; introducing Vietnamese culture - Country - People with a 4000-year cultural tradition; the rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the abundance of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country.
In particular, the exhibition space with the theme: "95 years of the Party flag lighting the way" recreates major events, brilliant milestones in modern Vietnamese history, the achievements of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam through the periods; The space displays the history of formation, achievements of innovation along with cultural identity, potential, and development advantages of localities with the theme "Rich province, strong country"; the space displays the achievements of enterprises with the aspiration and spirit of rapid development "like Saint Giong" as directed by General Secretary To Lam when meeting with the business community...
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, 80 years old, in Hoang Mai, Hanoi shared: “Hearing my children and grandchildren invite me to see the Exhibition during the holidays, I eagerly went right away. I was very impressed with the exhibition booth of the Ministry of National Defense . Our generation has gone through fierce war years, now seeing the people's army becoming more and more modern and powerful, my heart is filled with pride. Our nation has maintained its independence and is moving forward steadily.”
It was these emotions that turned the Exhibition into a “festival of national pride”. People not only came to see, but also to review the past, contemplate the present, and look to the future, thereby strengthening their belief in the path that the Party, Uncle Ho and our people have chosen.
Affirming Vietnam's potential and position
The exhibition also conveys a message to international friends about a Vietnam that is rising strongly, affirming its position and increasingly important role in the international arena.
The economic exhibition spaces with images of industrial parks, large corporations, and “Made in Vietnam” products conquering the world market have shown the increasingly high competitiveness of the Vietnamese economy. Strategic infrastructure development models such as the North-South Expressway, Long Thanh International Airport, Hanoi urban railway, etc. demonstrate the determination to build a modern and sustainable country. In particular, the exhibition space on foreign affairs with images of Vietnam successfully hosting many major international events, actively participating in the United Nations, ASEAN, and APEC, has affirmed the country’s increasingly high position.
A French expert shared after visiting: “I am impressed with the way Vietnam presents its achievements not only to make its people proud, but also to show the world that Vietnam is a reliable, responsible and dynamic partner”. The success of the exhibition shows that Vietnam is not only a heroic nation in war, but also a country full of aspirations and courage in peace, ready to contribute to the peace and development of humanity. If the past brings pride, the present affirms its position, the exhibition also strongly arouses aspirations for the future.
In the innovation exhibition space, high-tech products developed by Vietnamese startups, from artificial intelligence applications in medicine, smart agriculture, to electric vehicles, semiconductor chips, etc., attracted many young people. They not only visited but also took photos, shared on social networks, spreading the belief that their generation can make new achievements for the country.
Excitedly exploring high-tech products at the Exhibition, Pham Tuan Anh, a student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, shared: “Seeing the products of Vietnamese engineers displayed here, I believe even more that our young generation has the responsibility to take the country further and develop it in the future.”
The aspiration for power is not just a slogan, but through the Exhibition has become a reality in every product, every project, every initiative. Thereby, adding more faith and motivation for today's generation to continue the journey that their ancestors have started. And one of the greatest successes of the Exhibition is to create social consensus, spreading faith, solidarity and responsibility among the people.
In the past few days, in the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, the Exhibition is like a “big festival”. Where everyone finds their part in it. Each citizen realizes that they are part of the common achievement, from the farmer who grows rice, the assembly line worker, to the diplomat who contributes to international agreements.
It is this unanimity that is the solid foundation for Vietnam to overcome all difficulties and challenges. In the context of a rapidly changing world, the successes displayed at the Exhibition are a reminder that the strength of national unity is the key to the future. The National Achievements Exhibition with its images, stories, artifacts, etc. will become a source of inspiration for the press, schools, political and social organizations to continue educating and fostering patriotism, faith and aspiration for all generations.
