Chau Thanh District held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

STO - On the afternoon of June 20, at the Cultural, Sports and Broadcasting Center of Chau Thanh District (Soc Trang), the People's Committee of Chau Thanh District held an intimate meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). Attending were comrade Nguyen Van Trieu - Editor-in-Chief of Soc Trang Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Chau Thanh District; representatives of central and local news agencies and newspapers, along with a large number of reporters and journalists stationed in the area.

At the meeting, delegates watched a reportage on the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese revolutionary press ; affirmed the important role of the press in the revolutionary cause, as a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front, actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Particularly in Chau Thanh district, in recent years, the team of reporters and journalists of central and local news agencies and newspapers have always promptly informed and propagated the local situation, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people; accompanied the socio -economic development, maintained security and order, contributed to promoting the image of Chau Thanh to friends inside and outside the province.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to leaders and former leaders of provincial press agencies, reporters and journalists of central and local press agencies who have actively contributed to local propaganda work in recent times.
