Guidelines for developing socio-economic indicators for the 2025-2030 term.

BTO- On the morning of June 24, the Ministry of Finance held a national online conference to deploy and guide the development of socio-economic indicators to serve the development of documents for the Provincial and Commune Party Congresses (new) for the 2025-2030 term. Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc chaired the conference.

At the Binh Thuan bridge point, there were Mr. Pham Quoc Hung - Head of the Provincial Statistics Office, along with representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, National Assembly Deputies & Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches attending.

Within the framework of the program, the delegates were introduced by the Ministry of Finance about the construction of the System of socio-economic statistical indicators to serve the Party Congresses at the provincial and communal levels for the 2025-2030 term; the content and method of calculating the indicator of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP); the content and method of calculating the indicator of the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP; instructions for compiling the indicator of the growth rate of total product value at the communal level; introducing the content and method of calculating the indicator of the Human Development Index (HDI); introducing the content and method of calculating the indicator of Average Income per capita...

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the implementation of building and calculating socio- economic indicators; at the same time, making proposals and recommendations for smooth implementation, close to reality.

Conference scene

The conference is an important preparatory step to improve the quality of draft documents for Party Congresses at all levels, while also contributing to consolidating the database, helping localities build comprehensive reports with solid scientific foundations. In addition, this is also an opportunity to improve the capacity of statistical staff from the provincial to grassroots levels, especially in the skills of collecting, processing and analyzing data to serve the work of consulting and policy making.
