More than a week of participating in the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival - 2025 in Hue, for 30 domestic and foreign photographers, this is an unforgettable memory. Under the harsh sunlight of the last days of May, photographers still took the opportunity to go to the forest and down to the sea in a true way to find the most satisfactory and impressive shooting angles.

Photographers leave early in the morning and return at nightfall, visiting famous landmarks to compose. Along with the system of relics located in the Complex of Hue Monuments, they visit Quang Loi lagoon, Bao La weaving village (Dan Dien commune), and go up to A Luoi to experience craft villages and daily life. At night, photographers take advantage of the opportunity to immerse themselves in the life in the heart of Hue city to explore Dong Ba market, Truong Tien bridge, Bao Vinh ancient town... to create in their own unique way.

For many international photographers, coming to Hue to create photos this time is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the famous beauty of the ancient capital with a rich culture and history of Vietnam. After days of wandering and creating, photographer Masaki from Japan found Hue to be a city rich in culture and history. “I want to use images to spread the beauty of Hue to the world . And I also hope that I will continue to contribute, even if it is a small part, to the development of Vietnamese photography,” photographer Masaki shared.

Not only that, according to the photographer from the land of the rising sun, during his days attending the Vietnam International Photography Festival in Hue, he was truly impressed and inspired by the passion, creativity and enthusiasm of Vietnamese photographers. It was this intersection that helped everyone create works with very unique and creative colors.

Meanwhile, for photographer Low Eng Siang Eugen from Singapore, the days immersed in the creative atmosphere in Hue are unforgettable times in his photography career. Hue in the eyes of this photographer is a city with a gentle, profound and enchanting beauty. Therefore, when setting foot here, letting your soul follow every peaceful moment of life, living and creating in that true artistic space is a great honor for this photographer.

Low Eng Siang Eugen shared that the most valuable thing he received from this trip was not only the beautiful photos or memorable experiences, but also the opportunity to meet and connect with friends - people who share the same passion, deeply feeling the beauty of life through the lens. “Being a part of the photography community in Vietnam - where my love for photography grew and blossomed, makes me extremely touched and proud. I am grateful to be among like-minded souls who understand that photography is not only an art, but also a way to listen, share and touch people's hearts”, Low Eng Siang Eugen confided.

“Every photo in Hue today is a gift to the future and will become a piece of tomorrow's memory - Low Eng Siang Eugen believes and hopes that - The photos that we have created together in Hue will contribute to spreading the beauty of this land, so that more and more people will know, love and return to Hue, as a place to feel, to live and to remember”.

Mr. Ma The Anh - Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) said that this is the first time that foreign photographers have participated in the exchange and photo creation activities of the Vietnam International Photography Festival.
