Over 550 million VND to support the shared bookshelf of Hoa Vang commune

DNO - After more than a month of launching, up to now, the Hoa Vang Commune Shared Textbook Cabinet has received 551 million VND in money to buy books and 6,262 textbooks, placed in the libraries of schools under the commune's management.

That was the information at the launching ceremony of the Hoa Vang Commune Shared Textbook Cabinet organized by the Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee on the morning of August 16.

According to Chairman of Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee Le Phu Nguyen, in order to support people's children in terms of learning conditions, Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee has launched the construction of a model of Hoa Vang Commune Common Textbook Cabinet for all students of schools in the commune.

The program received support from philanthropists, agencies, and businesses... From the 2025-2026 school year, Hoa Vang commune will lend 15,171 textbooks to 1,254 students from 8 mountainous villages of the old Hoa Phu commune and provide them to all students from policy households and families in difficult circumstances.

From the 2026-2027 school year onwards, the commune will arrange and mobilize resources so that the Hoa Vang Commune Common Textbook Cabinet covers 100% of the textbook needs of local children, while also arranging funds to buy new books to replace and depreciate damaged books.

Every year, people in Hoa Vang commune borrow textbooks from the commune for their children to study. After finishing their studies, parents and students return them to the Common Textbook Cabinet for use by the next generation of students.
