Today, opening of the Special Session of Hanoi City People's Council

Kinhtedothi - This morning, November 19, the Hanoi People's Council held the 19th Session (special session) to review and promulgate contents on implementing and enforcing the 2024 Capital Law and other contents under the authority of the City People's Council.

According to the meeting agenda, the City People's Council will consider and approve 16 legal resolutions and individual resolutions, including many important resolutions such as: Regulations on criteria for establishment and organization of committees of the People's Councils of districts, towns and cities under the city; Resolution on the title of Honorary Citizen of the Capital; Establishment, reorganization and dissolution of specialized agencies and other administrative organizations under the City People's Committee and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities under the city; Resolution on Regulations on the application of measures to request the suspension of electricity and water services in Hanoi...

The meeting is also expected to consider and pass specific resolutions such as: supporting production recovery for some crops and livestock affected by storm No. 3 and post-storm floods; collecting to the city budget the increased land use fee of Dong Anh district for 2 projects arising during the budget stabilization period and supplementing a part of Dong Anh district budget to support infrastructure investment.

Review and approve the tasks of planning the construction zoning of Bac Thuong Tin industrial park, the tasks of planning the construction zoning of Phung Hiep industrial park, and the tasks of planning the construction zoning of Soc Son clean industrial park.

The thematic session organized by the Hanoi People's Council is a proactive and timely demonstration of the People's Council and the City People's Committee in implementing the Capital Law, ensuring that the Law soon comes into life.
