In his opening speech, Comrade Nguyen Nam Phong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio - Television Station, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival welcomed the press agencies of Nam Song Hau to gather here to participate in this sports festival. This is the first time that Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio - Television Station has organized a large-scale activity. This is a playground, demonstrating the spirit of sports and imbued with the spirit of solidarity between press agencies and colleagues, journalists. This playground will be a useful spiritual food for journalists to relax, regain energy to continue to perform well the assigned tasks.

The sports festival has 5 teams from 5 press agencies in Nam Song Hau competing in 4 events: men's mini soccer; badminton (men's and women's doubles, men's doubles, women's doubles); men's and women's team tug of war and men's and women's volleyball. For men's mini soccer, each team has 5 athletes competing; for men's and women's team tug of war, each team has 10 people competing in a knockout format; for volleyball, each team has 5 people competing (2 men, 3 women).

After a dramatic competition, the teams played their best with the desire to learn, exchange and achieve good results in the competitions. At the end of the 4 competitions, the organizing committee determined the rankings: first place, second place and third place and awarded prizes to the teams. Accordingly, the first place in men's mini soccer belonged to Hau Giang Newspaper team; the first place in tug of war belonged to Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio - Television team; the first place in volleyball was awarded to Bac Lieu Newspaper and Radio - Television team and in badminton, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the first, second and third place pairs.

The sports festival was held in a joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This activity aims to affirm the contributions of the collective of cadres, civil servants and workers working at the Nam Song Hau press agencies in the process of carrying out assigned political tasks. Thereby, creating a healthy playground for cadres, civil servants and workers to exchange and improve their physical and mental health.
