Lam Dong Farmers' Association held an Executive Committee Conference (expanded) for the 2023 - 2028 term

On August 14, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association held an Executive Committee Meeting (expanded) for the 2023-2028 term. The meeting aimed to discuss and evaluate the results of activities in the past time and deploy key tasks in the next period.

At the Conference, delegates discussed and approved the new Operating Regulations clearly defining the leadership role of the Executive Committee between two Congresses, the executive authority of the Standing Committee between two meetings, and the daily work tasks of the Standing Committee.

The conference also determined the work program for the last 5 months of 2025 and deployed the plan to organize the Farmers' Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

In the last 5 months of 2025, the Provincial Farmers' Association will focus on a number of key tasks such as: Promoting propaganda to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association , the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; implementing Party resolutions, State laws and policies and Provincial Party Committee resolutions; organizing grassroots congresses and preparing for provincial congresses.

The Provincial Farmers' Association continues to implement major resolutions and projects on innovation in Association activities, agricultural and rural development, and collective economy ; launching a movement of farmers who are good at production and business, uniting to help each other sustainably reduce poverty; monitoring according to Regulation 124-QD/TW; praising typical farmers and organizing cultural and sports activities...

At the conference, delegates contributed many practical ideas, focusing on providing specific instructions on work programs, preparing congress personnel, managing and using membership cards, improving the operational efficiency of the Farmers' Support Fund, as well as promoting the development of collective economy and cooperatives in agriculture...

For the 2025 - 2030 term Congress, the Provincial Farmers' Association determined that this is a broad political activity, both summarizing the results of the past term and setting out directions, goals and solutions for the new period. Personnel work is closely prepared, ensuring standards, reasonable structure, focusing on cadres who have grown up from the movement, have capacity and prestige, meeting the leadership requirements in the new era; at the same time, attention is paid to the proportion of female cadres and cadres from ethnic minorities. According to the plan, the commune-level Congress will be completed before September 30, 2025, the provincial-level Congress before December 31, 2025.

Based on that orientation, Lam Dong Farmers' Association is determined to innovate, unite and act effectively, promote emulation movements, mobilize social resources, contribute to socio-economic development, and ensure local defense and security.

At the same time, foster new vitality for the farmers' movement, spread the spirit of solidarity and aspiration to rise up in modern rural life, towards the goal of building an increasingly rich, civilized and sustainable homeland.
