Provincial Women's Union: Summary of activities in the first 6 months of 2025

According to Ms. Vo Thi Bach Yen, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, this conference aims to evaluate the results achieved in the work of the union and the provincial women's movement in the first 6 months of the year, identify the advantages, disadvantages, causes and propose solutions to continue implementing the directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; at the same time, orient a number of key activities before implementing the 2-level government and merging the province.

During the 2021-2026 term, the association at all levels carried out 213 practical activities and tasks with a total value of more than 9.8 billion VND for more than 11,700 women and children. There were 2 projects awarded certificates of outstanding projects by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. The association implemented the "Godmother" program to support 2,297 orphans and children in special circumstances with a total value of gifts and cash reaching more than 20.5 billion VND; established the Buddhist Women's Association under the provincial Women's Union - this is the first unique model in the country. The programs "Warm Spring of Love", "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" ... were implemented by the association with high efficiency.

The Association has implemented a pilot model of “Women implementing 5 yes, 3 clean”, improving the quality of life and environment for female members; established volunteer clubs for pediatric cancer patients at both provincial and district levels, creating a bridge to share and spread love to those in difficult circumstances in the community. The Association also launched and organized the 2025 Women's Entrepreneurship Competition, awarding prizes to 13 best projects...

The conference awarded 5 Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to units with outstanding achievements; awarded the Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee for the program of accompanying women in the border areas; awarded collectives and individuals with high results in the contest "New era and mission of Vietnamese women - actions of Binh Duong women", the contest of writing communication articles on social issues related to women; expressed gratitude to units accompanying the Provincial Women's Union in movements and expressed gratitude to retired and transferred Executive Committee members.
