- On the afternoon of August 24, the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) organized an emergency support program for households affected by floods in Lan Ly, Bai Danh village, Cai Kinh commune.
Due to the impact of heavy local rains for 2 days (August 21 and 22), the Ly hamlet, Bai Danh hamlet, Cai Kinh commune was isolated with 32 households. It is known that the whole hamlet is still completely flooded, with initial damage estimated at about 700 million VND (mainly custard apples and crops).
During the program, the Provincial Red Cross Association presented 32 gifts to households in the village. Each gift was worth 950,000 VND, including necessities such as instant noodles, sausages, rice, canned meat... with a total value of more than 30 million VND. This is an emergency support activity with humane meaning, sharing difficulties with people affected by floods, contributing to helping households overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
