Education of 5 Miss Vietnam in the past 10 years: All are students from top universities

(Dan Tri) - Not only beauty, now the education of beauty queens is a criterion that many people are interested in. Over the past 10 years, all Miss Vietnam at the time of their coronation were university students from top public schools.

On the evening of June 27, Ha Truc Linh, 21 years old, from Phu Yen won the crown of Miss Vietnam 2024 after 6 months of challenging competition.

Truc Linh is currently a third-year student majoring in Marketing at the University of Finance and Marketing. Before winning the Miss Vietnam crown, the female student was crowned the school's Student Beauty Contest in 2023 and was honored as a model student at the Marketing Faculty Association level for the 2023-2024 school year.

During 10 years of high school, Truc Linh continuously held the role of class monitor, was a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Chu Van An Secondary and High School, Phu Yen and was recognized as an excellent Youth Union member for many consecutive years.

Since her first year of university, Truc Linh has actively participated in union and association activities, taking on the role of class officer and supporting the care of new students. She also won a prize in an extracurricular activity aimed at improving English proficiency for teenagers.

Before Miss Ha Truc Linh, in the past 10 years, the previously crowned beauty queens all had good educations and were students at famous public schools across the country.

Another common point is that despite taking on social and community responsibilities while in office, beauty queens maintain their university studies and plan to graduate on time.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy won the crown of Miss Vietnam 2022 while she was a student at the University of Foreign Languages ​​(University of Danang ). The female student received an entrance scholarship from this school and was also 1 of 36 students who had the opportunity to exchange students at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.

In high school, Thanh Thuy had good academic performance so she studied both literature and English at the same time. She won second prize in the city-level literature competition in 2016; was Miss Student of the University of Foreign Languages ​​(University of Da Nang) and 1st runner-up in the Da Nang City Elegant Student Contest in the same year 2021.

After being crowned Miss Vietnam, Thanh Thuy received an additional scholarship and studied at Greenwich University Vietnam.

In 2024, surpassing more than 70 contestants from around the world , Miss Vietnam Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was officially crowned Miss International 2024. She is also the first Vietnamese beauty to win the crown at this contest.

Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha studied in the A1 class of Hau Loc 3 High School (Thanh Hoa), and was once on the provincial English competition team.

At the time of her coronation, she was a second-year student majoring in Business Law at the National Economics University - one of the top universities in the country in the field of economics.

Do Thi Ha once shared the pressure related to studying during her term as beauty queen, sometimes she had to do her makeup while running shows, and call her friends to ask for... exam preparation materials.

However, she still ensured her graduation plan when in mid-2023, Miss Do Thi Ha successfully defended her graduation thesis.

Recently, Miss Do Ha also shared her plan to prepare for a master's degree in Business Administration.

At the time of her coronation as Miss Vietnam 2018, Tran Tieu Vy had just graduated from high school at Van Hanh High School, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City and was admitted to the Business Administration program under the international joint program between the University of Sunderland (UK) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education.

According to information from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, in grade 12, Tran Tieu Vy's average score was 8.2.

Miss Tran Tieu Vy also ensures graduation progress when she receives her diploma from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in October 2022.

Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh also has an impressive education. At the time of her coronation, she was a student majoring in business administration at the Foreign Trade University with fluent English skills.

In parallel with fulfilling her responsibilities as a beauty queen to society and the community, Do My Linh also pursues her academic duties at school. There were times when she flew to Ho Chi Minh City in the morning and flew out again in the evening to be in time for her semester exams the next day.

Miss Do My Linh received her degree in business administration from Foreign Trade University in September 2018.
