(Dan Tri) - From the night of July 15 to the morning of July 16, many students stayed up all night waiting until morning to see their high school graduation exam results with mixed feelings of anxiety and humor.

According to the plan, at 8:00 a.m. this morning, July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the 2025 high school graduation exam scores. This year, the Ministry will announce the score distribution of the exam subjects before announcing the exam scores.

Compared to 2024, this year's score distribution has many fluctuations, especially in math and English.

The math test was assessed as difficult and highly differentiated. Surprisingly, 513 candidates scored 10. Meanwhile, in 2024, no candidate scored 10.

There are no 10s in literature. The average score is at a high level of 7.0.

According to the English score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam, only about 15% of candidates scored 7 points or higher. The average score this year also decreased, from 5.51 in 2024 to 5.38.

Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam subjects on July 15, information about waiting for exam scores was continuously updated and shared by students on social networking groups. "Can't sleep", "So nervous that I can't sleep"... are the feelings of many candidates waiting for their exam results.

Some candidates even joked about exam season-related content such as "parents already have flip-flops and feather dusters ready", "will the mother-child relationship change after knowing the scores", "already have oxygen tanks ready"...

Candidate Nguyen Van Huy, from An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, said that after knowing the score distribution, he became more anxious waiting for his exam score. Huy had no intention of staying up to wait for his score, but he couldn’t sleep when he went to forums and chatted with his friends in the Zalo group. So the whole group decided to “if you can’t sleep, stay up.”

Huy said he was not too pressured by his high school graduation exam scores, and that he used other methods to apply for university admission. However, Huy, like millions of candidates, was still very anxious to know his exam scores.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the scores, if candidates are not satisfied with the exam results, they have the right to submit a request for review. Candidates have 10 days to submit the request, from July 16 to July 25. The review will be completed before August 3.

The formula for calculating scores for high school graduation recognition will change from 2025, according to the exam regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training at the end of December last year.

From 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will officially eliminate early admission in university admissions and all must follow the common admission process on the ministry's system.

From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes (unlimited number of times) on the Ministry of Education and Training's general registration system.

Thus, the registration period lasts nearly half a month, right after the announcement of the 2025 high school graduation exam results. During this period, candidates can register, correct errors, and change their wishes without limit.
