Completing the high school graduation exam with candidates of the 2018 General Education Program

On the morning of June 27, along with more than 1.1 million candidates nationwide, nearly 20,000 candidates in Quang Ninh continued to enter the second day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. The number of candidates taking the exam reached over 99%, no candidates or individuals participating in the organization of the exam violated the exam regulations. The exam supervision work of the Examination Council was organized seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations.

There was light rain in the early morning but it did not affect the candidates much.

Candidates taking the exam under the new 2018 General Education Program will take 2 elective subjects from the remaining 9 subjects besides Math and Literature: Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology. Each subject has 48 exam codes, twice as many as last year.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, Geography is the elective subject with the largest number of candidates registering for the exam with 10,741 students. Subjects appearing for the first time in the high school graduation exam such as: Information Technology has only 113 candidates, Technology (Industry) 1 candidate, Technology ( Agriculture ) 182 candidates registered to take the exam.

The examination invigilation work of the Examination Council is organized seriously, safely and in accordance with regulations.

The test is designed with 40% of questions at the recognition level, 30% at the comprehension level and 30% at the application level; at the same time, the requirement to connect and apply knowledge to practice is increased, in order to accurately assess students' abilities.

Thus, after 2 Math and Literature exams yesterday and 2 elective subjects this morning, candidates taking the current 2018 General Education Program have completed the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

Candidates are happy in the arms of their families after completing the exam.

Also this morning, candidates taking the exam under the old 2006 General Education Program completed the Natural Science or Social Science exam, and in the afternoon they continued with the Foreign Language exam.
