
The project “Application of remote medical services to enhance access to health services for vulnerable groups in Vietnam” is funded by the Korean Government through the Korea Foundation for International Health (KOFIH) and authorized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to directly manage and implement.
At the training course, trainees were introduced to the legal basis and remote medical examination and treatment system; introduced to the project "Application of remote medical services to increase access to medical services for disadvantaged groups in Vietnam"; and instructed on how to use commonly used features of the software "Doctor for every family" on computers and mobile devices such as booking and processing appointments, diagnosis, prescription, consultation, online meetings and user management features.

In the context of promoting digital transformation in the health sector today, the training course helps improve the capacity of the grassroots health system. Thereby, helping people in remote communes in the province to access early, quality medical services with the expertise of higher-level hospitals without having to travel far, saving costs and travel time. Thereby, contributing to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals, improving people's health care.
