Hoai Nhon Bac invests in building infrastructure synchronously

(GLO)- Today (August 18), the 1st Congress of Hoai Nhon Bac Ward Party Committee (Gia Lai Province) for the 2025-2030 term officially took place. The Congress will set out key tasks and breakthroughs to exploit and promote potentials and strengths for rapid and sustainable development.

A journey of many successes

Hoai Nhon Bac Ward was established on the basis of merging Hoai Chau Bac Commune, Hoai Son Commune and Tam Quan Bac Ward. In the 2020 - 2025 term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and People in the ward have promoted the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, focused on leadership, direction and achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields, basically completing and exceeding the set targets.

Mr. Tran Huu Thao - Secretary of Hoai Nhon Bac Ward Party Committee - said: The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many outstanding results. The emulation movement to build "Four-good Party cells" and "Four-good grassroots Party organizations" has been effectively implemented; the rate of Party organizations and Party members completing their tasks well or better is over 95%.

The activities of the Front and mass organizations have been effective; the great national unity bloc has been consolidated and strengthened. Administrative reform associated with digital transformation has been promoted, improving the quality of service to the people.

The ward's economy grew quite well, with an average growth rate of 13.3% per year. The economic structure shifted in a positive direction: agriculture - forestry - fishery accounted for 36%; industry - construction accounted for 33.2%; trade - services accounted for 30.8%. Average income per capita reached 120 million VND per year.

According to Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Van Hoa, during the past term, the total average budget revenue reached more than 56 billion VND/year, exceeding the set target and increasing by an average of 10.5%/year.

The economic and social infrastructure system has been invested in and built according to the plan, better meeting the development requirements. Social security has been ensured, and the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been completed. Up to now, the ward has no poor households.

Lots of growth potential

During the 2025 - 2030 term, the Hoai Nhon Bac Ward Party Committee determined to continue building a clean and strong Party Committee in all aspects; building a creative government serving the people and businesses; consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

Effectively manage and exploit the resources, potentials and advantages of the ward; focus on strongly developing the private economy; focus on investing in building synchronous infrastructure; improve the material and spiritual life of the people...

"In the coming term, we strive to build Hoai Nhon Bac ward into a fairly developed ward and together with the province firmly enter a new era of development" - Mr. Tran Huu Thao emphasized.

To successfully achieve the goals in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ward Party Committee clearly identified 7 key task groups and 3 breakthroughs. In particular, the important breakthrough is to apply and promote the effectiveness of digital technology, carry out synchronous digital transformation in the operations of the local political system; improve leadership capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of management and administration; focus on digital transformation in providing public services and serving the people.

On the other hand, the merger of the three previous communes and wards creates more room for Hoai Nhon Bac ward to exploit economic development. In particular, comprehensive development of fisheries - agriculture - forestry; high-tech agriculture.

Hoai Nhon Bac also has great potential for tourism development with diverse destinations from mountains to the sea. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa said: The ward will focus on developing tourism from advantages, traditional cultural values, folk beliefs associated with building a separate tour of Hoai Nhon Bac "Love of the sea - Coconut land - Green plateau". From there, aiming to develop green, sustainable tourism and become an important driving force for local economic development.
