On the evening of August 22, female singer Hoa Minzy officially premiered the MV "Pain in the Middle of Peace " - the theme song of the movie "Red Rain" by director Dang Thai Huyen.
Hoa Minzy and musician Nguyen Van Chung chose the perspective of a mother and a wife to tell the story of a husband and a son wearing the green uniform of a soldier, "bringing their youth to sow freedom for the country" and then "after many years, there was a day of peace", but in the midst of a peaceful life, "pain" still exists in the hearts of the wife and mother.
Sharing at the MV launch, Hoa Minzy said: During her visit to Quang Tri on July 27, she met the heroic Vietnamese mother Dao Thi Vui. Mother Vui's husband and only son are both martyrs. The pain of a mother in peacetime urged Hoa Minzy to make a "heartfelt and worthy" MV to pay tribute to the great sacrifices of wives and mothers in the solid rear.

When she was invited to participate in “Red Rain,” Hoa Minzy deeply felt that there are pains that do not flow into tears. She wanted music to soothe some of that pain.
“I hope that the MV will help the audience understand the fierceness of the Quang Tri Citadel battle during the days of bombs and bullets. From there, they will appreciate the peaceful life today more, be proud of the soldiers who 'died for the Fatherland, lived for the Fatherland,' and be grateful to the heroic Vietnamese mothers and wives who wiped away their tears to see their children off,” Hoa Minzy emotionally expressed.
In the MV, Hoa Minzy builds the story in the rear of Captain Ta of “Red Rain.” She transforms into the role of a gentle, hard-working wife and daughter-in-law. Living in a love that is separated when her husband participates in the 81-day and night battle at Quang Tri Citadel.
Hoa Minzy invited actor Phuong Nam - Captain Ta to play the role of the husband and People's Artist Nhu Quynh (mother) to participate in her MV.
Regarding the selection of settings, director Nhu Dang and his crew decided to choose Truong Son Cemetery (Quang Tri) and Duong Lam ancient village (Hanoi) as the two main settings.
Hoa Minzy said that the MV “The Pain of Peace” is the “most expensive” product in her career because “having a lot of money doesn’t necessarily mean you can do it.” The female singer received many privileges and help from the film crew of “Red Rain” with the filming set, guns, tanks, expensive footage… those things are really not simple to find in any singer’s MV.
Witnessing Hoa Minzy recording the song, musician Nguyen Van Chung could not contain his emotions.
“At the climax, Hoa Minzy collapsed after singing and covered her face, crying. Everyone present in the studio shed tears of emotion and sincerity at the lyrics that seemed to understand the pain of heroic Vietnamese mothers,” the musician shared.
The MV launch had a surprise appearance by Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi Can, from Bac Ninh province, who is 101 years old this year.
Approaching Mother Can, Hoa Minzy confided: "I don't know if the next generation, 20 or 30 years from now, will still have the opportunity to meet heroic Vietnamese mothers, so I want to make these films to remind young people, like me, to always be grateful, remember the source of water when drinking, and show gratitude to mothers like you."
When asked about her feelings when watching the MV, Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi Can said she felt heartbroken, remembering her son who fell on the battlefield: "How can you not remember the child you gave birth to?"
That statement made the whole audience sob./.
