- On the afternoon of August 25, the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) organized an emergency support program for households affected by floods in Tien Hau and Pa Let villages, Nhat Hoa commune.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society, Nhat Hoa Commune People's Committee and Bac Son Commune Party Secretary visited and inspected the flooding situation due to the impact of heavy rains and floods in Tien Hau village, Nhat Hoa commune.

It is known that the households in the two villages above are mainly Dao and Mong ethnic groups. Due to the impact of heavy rain, 180 households in the two villages were severely affected, causing damage to houses, crops, livestock, etc. The total damage is estimated at about 3 billion VND.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society, Nhat Hoa Commune People's Committee and Bac Son Commune Party Secretary presented gifts to households in especially difficult circumstances in Tien Hau village, Nhat Hoa commune.

During the program, the Provincial Red Cross Association presented 32 gifts to households in particularly difficult circumstances in the above villages. Each gift was worth 950 thousand VND, including necessities such as instant noodles, rice, cooking oil. At the same time, relief items such as cooking oil, seasoning powder, rice, MSG, fish sauce, dry food, canned meat, instant noodles... were presented to the remaining households. The total value of the program reached over 62 million VND.
