Viettel team coach admits U.22 Vietnam star is timid when facing Que Ngoc Hai

"The weather was hot, making it difficult to breathe, so I sympathized with the players. Viettel Club players deployed the ball, kept the ball, controlled it without losing energy, and waited for SLNA to reveal gaps. The players followed the tactics set by the coaching staff, and the team spirit was excellent," Coach Thach Bao Khanh shared after Viettel Club's 3-0 victory over SLNA in the match on the evening of June 1 in round 10 of the V-League.

Viettel's strategist also shared Khuat Van Khang's timidity when facing Que Ngoc Hai.

"When Van Khang played on the left wing, I found him shy when playing with Que Ngoc Hai, so I moved Van Khang to the right and brought the right midfielder to replace him. Huu Thang replaced Van Khang, along with Duc Chien, Jaha changed positions very well," Coach Bao Khanh shared.

On the day Viettel Club's young talents competed to score goals, Coach Bao Khanh commented: "Manh Dung always tries hard and never gives up. I told him that if he tries hard, the results will come, so Manh Dung is very happy with his first goal after 9 matches. We are trying step by step, our ability to score goals in each match is improving, scoring more goals after each match. Viettel Club tries to maintain this state and the way the whole team plays.

No matter which opponent we face, we will play 100% and try our best. Not only SLNA but every opponent is very difficult. The whole team needs to enter the field with the highest spirit and accumulate points for the second phase."

Meanwhile, Coach Huy Hoang commented: "I have a headache about the defense, when the players still make individual and systematic mistakes. SLNA needs to overcome this pressure and fix the defense, and must play with all their might. When losing by 1 goal, the defense makes many mistakes. SLNA players are young and do not deploy well, while Viettel Club has quality and defends in large numbers.

In the last matches, the whole team has not completed the task well, honestly, that is a heartbreaking problem for SLNA audiences. We have to be determined in each match and try harder for the upcoming matches."
