Petrolimex Board of Directors announces decisions on personnel work at Petrolimex Hanoi

Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) of Petrolimex Pham Van Thanh chaired the announcement ceremony with the participation of member of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Tran Tuan Linh, representatives of the leaders of the Group's Boards; Board of Directors of Petrolimex Hanoi, leaders of Duc Giang Petroleum Depot, 54 Store Managers of the Company and representatives of Ha Son Binh Petroleum Company.

At the ceremony, Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Pham Van Thanh presented the Decision on transfer and appointment of Comrade Vu Quang Tuan - Chairman and Director of Ha Son Binh Petroleum Company, to hold the position of Chairman of Petroleum Company Region I. Comrade Vu Quang Tuan succeeded Comrade Nguyen Dong, Chairman of Petrolimex Hanoi - who has successfully completed his tasks in the 2020-2025 term.

This is one of the activities in the process of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus according to the Petrolimex restructuring project for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2035, closely following the policies and orientations of Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee. In addition, it marks an important transition in the Company's leadership team.

In his speech assigning the task, Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Pham Van Thanh affirmed that this is both an honor and a great responsibility for Mr. Vu Quang Tuan; At the same time, he believes that with his proven experience and capacity, the new Chairman of Petrolimex Hanoi will, together with the Company's staff, promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, maintain the pioneering role of the unit, and successfully complete the work programs, tasks, and plans assigned by the Group. The Chairman of the Group also expressed his deep gratitude for the dedicated contributions of Mr. Nguyen Dong over the past 5 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Chairman of Petrolimex Hanoi Vu Quang Tuan expressed his honor to be entrusted with the responsibility by the Group's leaders and pledged to make every effort to complete the assigned tasks. In his new position, he hopes to always receive the attention and close guidance of the Group's leaders; the support and assistance of the Board of Directors and employees of Petrolimex Hanoi so that he can soon approach and effectively implement the work, bringing Petrolimex Hanoi further and further.
