Harry Kane scored twice to help Bayern Munich win a hard-fought match against Flamengo

In the early morning of June 30, in the round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Bayern Munich went through more than 90 minutes of hard work to defeat Flamengo 4-2.

Flamengo returned from the break with determination. Bayern Munich's defence looked fragile despite being the favourites. The Brazilians were rewarded for their pressure, forcing Olise to handle the ball in the box. From 11 metres, Jorginho fooled Neuer to give Flamengo hope.

But while playing well, their defense continued to make regrettable mistakes. This gave Harry Kane the opportunity to finish in the penalty area to increase the score to 4-2 for Bayern.

In the remaining minutes, the two teams continued to play tit for tat but no more goals appeared. Bayern Munich won a hard-fought victory and will meet Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
