Hai Phong Customs supports building houses for disadvantaged students in Tuyen Quang

The Youth Union of Hai Phong Customs Department has just coordinated with the Youth Union - Women's Union of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, Yen Son District Police to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of "August 19 House" for student Dang Thuy Trang.

Dang Thuy Trang (in Ban Pai village, Trung Minh commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang), is a Dao ethnic group, an 8th grade student at Trung Minh Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

Trang has a particularly difficult situation, orphaned, her mother remarried when she was young.

Trang lives with her grandparents. Trang's grandparents are often sick, are poor, and live in a dilapidated house.

The new house was built on Trang's grandparents' land with an area of 70 square meters and a total cost of 130 million VND.

Of which, the Youth Union of Hai Phong Customs Department supported 70 million VND; the rest is the family's counterpart fund.
