Hanoi deploys measures to ensure fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief

Kinhtedothi - On March 19, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 979/UBND-NC on the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work after the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies and other administrative organizations under the Hanoi People's Committee.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requests departments, branches and sectors under the City People's Committee to continue to urgently, fully, resolutely and effectively implement the assigned tasks in the Directives, Projects, Decisions, Programs, Plans, Telegrams and directives of the City People's Committee on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work according to their functions and tasks; periodically report on the results of implementing assigned tasks according to regulations.

For departments and branches reorganized according to Resolution No. 06/NQ-HDND dated February 25, 2025, it is necessary to review, receive and deploy tasks on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue, report results according to instructions and decisions of the City People's Committee to perform according to new functions and tasks.

The City People's Committee assigns the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to comprehensively direct the state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in their localities according to regulations, and at the same time coordinate with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Search and Rescue Police Department to advise on the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work that was previously under the authority of the District Police. Make a list of focal units and individuals advising on this work and send it to the City Police before March 24, 2025. At the same time, continue to direct, guide, inspect and urge the People's Committees at the commune level to perform the functions and tasks of state management of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue in the localities according to the provisions of law.

The City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over, guide, urge, inspect and summarize the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue tasks of the units, and at the same time report the implementation results to the City People's Committee according to regulations.

In addition, the City People's Committee requests Heads of units and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns to seriously implement and promptly report on difficulties and problems in the implementation process for support and resolution.
