Implementing the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports presided over and coordinated with the city's functional agencies and local authorities to organize the operation of 15 passenger stations in the central areas and parade and marching streets. These stations are located in Ngoc Ha, Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, and Cua Nam wards. In addition, businesses also participated in the operation to share, accompany, and contribute to the country's important event.

The "Guest Stations: A80 Proud of Vietnam" are friendly stops, providing resting space, drinking water, fans, and seats for people, especially the elderly, children, and people with disabilities. The purpose is to enable them to fully participate in outdoor parades and marches. The stations also act as "connecting points" for people to easily locate and find useful information when they need help. In addition, the "guest stations" are also cultural and communication highlights, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the Capital.
The name "Guest Station" is modern, familiar and reminiscent of a memorable historical period. At that time, the guest stations were familiar destinations, places to welcome cadres, soldiers and serve the people in special circumstances. Thereby, the project "Guest Station: A80 Proud of Vietnam" both preserves the traditional features and affirms the humanistic spirit and the City's concern for the people.
