After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, General Secretary To Lam delivered an important speech, emphasizing the great historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, commemorating President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs, affirming the role of the great national unity bloc, the aspiration to develop a strong and prosperous country and the determination to protect independence and sovereignty in the new period.

Opening the parade on Ba Dinh Square, the aircraft squadrons of the Vietnam People's Air Force - from Mi-171, Mi-17, Mi-8 helicopters carrying the national flag and the Party flag, to Casa C-295, C212i transport aircraft, Yak-130, L-39NG trainers and Su-30MK2 fighters - flew in the sky, demonstrating the strength, bravery, intelligence and pride of the air force, affirming the ability to protect sovereignty and the aspiration to develop the country in the new era.

At the same time, at Cam Ranh Military Base (Khanh Hoa), armed forces, including: command ships; maritime patrol aircraft, anti-submarine helicopters; submarine squadrons, missile frigates, anti-submarine frigates, fast attack missile boats, gunboats of the Vietnam People's Navy; squadrons of ships of the Vietnam Coast Guard; Border Guards and Standing Militia Squadron, along with many other modern vehicles and equipment paraded at sea.

At Ba Dinh Square, 87 parade groups, including: 4 honor guard groups; 13 mass groups; 22 army groups; 3 militia and guerilla groups; 17 police groups; 14 military vehicle and artillery groups; 9 police special vehicle groups and the red flag group, entered the stage in turn.
