Hanoi appoints specialized unit in charge of network information security

According to Decision No. 3614/QD-UBND, Hanoi City Police is the specialized unit in charge of network information security of the City People's Committee.

According to the Decision, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the City Police as the specialized unit in charge of network information security of the City People's Committee.

Hanoi Police is in charge of cyber security for the Hanoi People's Committee.

The City Police Department is responsible for performing the tasks of a specialized unit and developing mechanisms, policies, strategies, plans, and projects on network information security; appraising information system designs and monitoring information systems at the local level; responsible for deploying technical monitoring and warning systems, connecting with the National Cyber ​​Security Center - Ministry of Public Security , handling incidents, removing malware, preventing cyber attacks, and supporting the protection of online public service delivery systems, digital government, digital economy, and digital society of the city.

At the same time, Hanoi Police coordinate with relevant agencies in the fields of preventing and combating cyber attacks, preventing and combating malware; ensuring the safety of personal information online; and protecting children in cyberspace.
