On August 23, Hanoi City Police issued a notice to adjust traffic flow time and organize directions for vehicles in Hanoi to ensure traffic order and safety, prevent congestion, and at the same time facilitate and serve the travel needs of people and activities serving the second A80 task training program, taking place on the evening of August 24.

Accordingly, from 12:30 on August 24 (4:30 earlier than the previous announcement) to 2:00 on August 25, Hanoi City Police will strictly ban all vehicles (except vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary) from circulating on the following routes: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Chua Mot Cot, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Cua Bac and Yen Phu streets.
From 4:30 p.m. on August 24 to 2 a.m. on August 25, all routes will be banned: Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, Son Tay, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi Tam, Doi Can, Doc La-Pho, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Tran Nhan Tong (from Le Duan to Quang Trung), Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Co Tan, Phan Chu Trinh (from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien); Le Thanh Tong, Tong Dan (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from State Bank Square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung).

In order to ensure security and safety, contributing to the successful organization of the Anniversary, during the road ban, Hanoi City Police request people not to stop or park their vehicles on bridges, overpasses, and roads where traffic is banned or temporarily banned; voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; when encountering priority vehicles signaling priority on duty, promptly move close to the right side of the road, stop completely or change direction to the nearest level crossings and intersections, and give way to priority vehicles.
The time for organizing the ban, temporary ban and restriction of vehicles on some routes may change, adjust, ensure compliance with the program of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony. Hanoi City Police recommends that people regularly update and find necessary information on the Website: https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn or https://congan.hanoi.gov.vn/ and other official media to proactively choose the appropriate route, supporting the functional forces to complete their tasks.
