Hanoi City arranges 6 fireworks display locations to celebrate National Day September 2

From 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 6 locations to celebrate the A80 festival, including a total of 3,600 high-altitude fireworks and 540 low-altitude fireworks displays.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son has just signed and issued Plan No. 236/KH-UBND of the City People's Committee on organizing fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) in the capital Hanoi .

Accordingly, the city has 6 locations for high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics, specifically: high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics (2 locations); location number 1 in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters, Hoan Kiem Ward; location number 2 in front of the Hanoi Post Office , Hoan Kiem Ward.

High-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display (4 locations), specifically: location number 3 at Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung Ward; location number 4 in front of the Water Sports Palace, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem Ward; location number 5 at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Tay Ho Ward. Location number 6 at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong Ward.

High-altitude fireworks have a total of 3,600 fireworks (600 fireworks per site); low-altitude fireworks have a total of 540 sets (90 sets per site); the firing time is 15 minutes; the firing time is from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.

The city requested the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with the city police to closely direct patrol and guard work, maintain security and order, social safety, prevent fires and explosions, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after fireworks display at the display sites.

Hanoi City Police develop plans to ensure social order and safety, traffic safety; especially guide and direct traffic around the fireworks display area; facilitate vehicles carrying fireworks and technical equipment to the site; ensure forces and equipment to perform fire prevention and fighting tasks.

The city requested the People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards to do a good job of propaganda and agitation, organize cultural and artistic performances to serve the people at the fireworks display sites; ensure timely handling plans when situations arise.
