Hanoi police train to ensure security and order at A80 Anniversary

On the morning of August 24, Hanoi City Police organized a training session on some contents for officers and students of People's Police schools to participate in ensuring security and order for the A80 Anniversary Ceremony.

Attending the event were representatives of the City Police's functional departments; representatives of the People's Security College I, the People's Police College I and more than 1,700 students.

Speaking at the training session, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, emphasized that the A80 Anniversary is an especially important event, the largest in scale ever and requires the highest level of protection. Therefore, the task is to ensure absolute security and safety, without any negligence or error. According to him, this is both a great honor and pride, and a heavy but glorious responsibility for each officer and student.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long affirmed that this mission not only has important political significance but is also an opportunity to train the character, qualities and practical capacity, and is a measure of the spirit of discipline and dedication of each cadre and student. The A80 anniversary is not only a great national festival but also an opportunity for international friends to observe and evaluate the image of the country. Therefore, every action and every work is associated with the prestige and honor of the nation.

Through training, officers and trainees are equipped with practical skills in the process of performing tasks, and are required to proactively propagate and guide people to stand in the right position on the sidewalk, behind the protective fence, absolutely not letting them spill onto the road. Each officer and trainee must be physically prepared, closely coordinate with the local police to ensure urban and public order.
