Ha Long is rapidly urbanizing, losing its closeness to nature.

Tourism products are not diverse and prices are still expensive.

Previously, the locality had a regulation that tourist boats on Ha Long Bay were not allowed to use disposable plastic waste.
But there are limitations that are not easy to overcome or fix quickly, such as the lack of planning based on long-term vision and sustainable development options, causing hotels and resort real estate to be built massively, cutting mountains and reclaiming the sea.
